I’m Andrew. I built the entire TCCS football site for my son’s team—the live game, schedule, roster, and season stats. One place for families to follow the team all season.
Have something in mind? ↗Built around a real Friday night
A phone on the sideline. Uneven cell service. More than one person keeping score. Those are the conditions this had to work in.
Plays are saved on the scorer’s phone first. An outbox holds them when service drops and sends them when it returns, so scoring can keep going.
More than one person can help record the action. Duplicate detection catches overlapping entries for review, keeping a second pair of hands useful.
The field draws the play’s route. The same play record feeds the score and season stats. Correct an entry later, and the numbers are recalculated from the plays.
The person behind it
I spent twelve years on FastField, a platform for collecting data in the field—often offline. I started in support, grew into product leadership, and helped the team take it from $0 to $20M+ in annual recurring revenue, through its acquisition by Quickbase.
That experience shapes how I build: listen to the people doing the work, understand where things get messy, and stay with the details through delivery and support.
Husband, father, builder, fixer. In that order.
